TM Series Sensor Timing Module
The TM Series Sensor Timing Module is an economical system to start-stop processes in the event of equipment malfunctions due to overloads, over temperature of bearings, conveyor belt misalignment, conveyor overloads, storage bin over fills, etc.

  • Pre-punched for ¾ inch and ½ inch conduit inlets

Sensor Inputs
  • Standard Unit designed for Normally Closed switches. Normally Open version available. (Consult factory to order)
  • Voltage to sensor (12V DC)
  • Supervised circuit detection kit supplied for sensor inputs: Supervised circuit will detect shorted leads.
CPU Printed Circuit Board
  • Time Delay on user selects 0-30 seconds
  • Time Delay off user selects 0-30 seconds
  • Locking Mode- User selects ON or OFF

  • The voltage and current to the sensors are fused which makes the system safe for all type environments.
  • Sensor outputs are fused.
Overview
  • The TM Series works in the fail safe mode. If system fails Relay outputs go to OPEN mode.
  • The TM Series have supervised circuit capability that will detect sensor lead shorts versus the closed sensor circuit.
  • The TM Series have Time Delay ON user set time adjustment 0-30 seconds. With the built in alarm switch in the ON position a pre-warning that the Time ON timer has started due to sensor activation. This alarm will sound until times out and switches relay or sensor resets.
Time Delay
  • Time Delay Off: User sets 0-30 seconds. In automatic Mode when sensor resets time will begin counting. When timer times out relay will switch back to closed position.
  • Locking Mode: When time ON timer times out, relay switches to Open position. Delay locks in this position until "Reset" push button is pressed.
CPU Display Board
  • L.E.D. INDICATORS
    • Solid Green-Sensor in normal position
    • Flashing Green-Time on Timer activated
    • Solid Red-Sensor in OPEN (fault) position
    • Flashing Red-Time OFF Timer activated
    • Solid Yellow (OFF) Supervised circuit not sensing and circuit faults
    • Flashing Yellow-Sensor leads shorted (fault)
  • Time ON Adjustment (set)
  • Time OFF Adjustment (set)

Some Typical Applications Include:
  • Sense Conveyor Alignment
      Sense conveyor belt misalignment. Allows conveyor to empty then shut down. Sense bearing over temperature: Allows process to finish then shut down.
  • Sense Liquid Levels
      Flow Control-When level is too high or low, flow will cut off until level drops or rises to normal. System will allow to restart or stop automatically.
  • Equipment Startup/Slow Down
      Use for equipment sequence start up or slow down.
  • Start/Stop
      Ventilation Fans
      Dust Collection systems.

  • Vent Temperature Control
      Open/Close vent for air flow to control temperature in green houses.
